Bringing your pool to life
Once your pool design is complete, you'll want to see your new pool in your backyard as soon as possible-that is our goal as well! But with any investment as important as your new pool, you'll want us to take the necessary steps to insure quality craftsmanship. Here are the phases that will bring your new pool to life. 1. Permitting The first step is obtaining a pool permit to begin construction. Permits are governed and issued by the city in which you live. We'll secure an official permit for you. 2. Layout & Excavation The shape and position of your pool will be staked out by our Layout Technician using spray paint. Once approved, the outline will serve as a guide for our excavators to dig and you'll see your pool begin to take shape. 3. Reinforced Plumbing & Steel Your new pool will get a skeleton of steel that is contoured to the shape of your pool in a grid. We'll use high grade schedule 40 PVC piping sized to meet the proper functioning needs of your circulation pump, filter and any additional water feature elements that are a part of your project. 4. Electrical A licensed, professional electrical contractor will
carefully make all of the electrical connections regarding your pool equipment following National Electrical Code standards.
5. Shotcrete Shotcrete is a mixture of sand, rock, cement, water and fibermix additive for extra strength. This advanced formula
is shot from a hose onto the steel grid by an experienced shotcrete crew to provide a tough, durable pool shell. 6. Water Features, Boulders & Decking
If you included a rock waterfall or accent boulders in your pool design, this is the phase in which they will be added. 7. Tile You can select from dozens of glazed ceramic tiles or popular stone-look tiles to be hand-laid and carefully grouted
around the waterline of your pool. Or add decorative mosaic tiles to be placed on your pool's steps or love seat for added
beauty. 8. Interior Surfacing
Once your pool passes your city's building inspection, an experienced surfacing crew will apply
the pool interior finish of your choice. Our surfacing crews use extra care to create a seamless interior finish where steps
and walls meet the pool floor. 9. Start Up
Our start up technician will start up your circulation and filtration system labeling the plumbing and components properly. He will chemically balance the pool water chemistry and ensure everything is working properly and provide you with a complete orientation to your project. 10. Orientation & Jump In! Lastly, our orientation specialist will visit your home and meet with you one-on-one to familiarize you with the operation of your new pool. Now jump in and enjoy! |
